On the 17th May (Bell Sunday) ringers from all over Cary Branch will be getting together to attempt to ring all 245 bells in the 44 towers of the branch.
We will be dividing into groups to tackle the towers and we will need all the ringers we can find.
So keep the date free and keep an eye out for details – coming soon!
St. Peter’s at West Lydford needs to raise £12,000 for essential maintenance work to keep the bells ringing.
Already, 5 of our 44 towers are now unringable and we’d love for St. Peter’s to keep ringing for the community as it has done since Elizabethan times.
