The fee for Frome Branch’s courses have been set at £10 for a great many years, since before I became the Branch’s Education Officer. We are putting the fee up to £15 in line with inflation over this period. This increase will cover some of the costs towards a helper’s travelling expenses (if claimed) as well as contributing towards the tower’s rope fund.
However our training programme has been issued to the end of 2026 with the old fee of £10. We will still charge £10 until then. If you wish to pay the new fee, it will be gratefully received.
