6 & 8 Bell Striking competions

Bath & Wells Diocesan Association of Change Ringers Annual 6-Bell (Crewkerne Branch), and 8-Bell (Taunton Branch) Striking Competitions
Closing Date was Tuesday 30th June 2026
(Please note that each Branch is allowed to enter 2 bands in each competition)
8-bell Competition – Test Piece – 2 Courses of Plain Bob Triples, with a single half way and end. This will take place at North Curry.

Entry fee: £8.00 per band, payable on the day

Entry assumes familiarisation with the Association’s Rules for these competitions (which are attached to this email)
6-bell Competition – Test Piece – 120 Changes of Doubles or Minor. This will take place at Ilton.

Tea and results will be at North Curry after the completion of the eight-bell competition. Start time will depend on the number of entries.
Please find attached provisional draw for this year’s inter-branch striking competitions. Please would all branches let Jill Hansford know of any teams that you wish to withdraw or any other requests by August 15th
