Association 8-bell striking competition rules (2024)
- Each Branch may enter a single team.
- All participants must be paid up members of the Association and be members of a tower within the Branch they are representing, or be an unattached member within that Branch.
- Participants may only ring for one Branch
- Three minutes of practice will be allowed per team (if the Band are still ringing at 3 minutes then the person timing the practice will call stand).
- The signal to start the test piece will be two whole pulls on the Treble and second.
- The rounds at the beginning and end of the test piece will be marked.
- Failure to stand will not be penalised.
