Oh! I was enjoying the responses which mirror my thoughts pretty much exactly!

I don't want to stifle discussion on this topic but could I ask that you don't use reply-all for any future comments, it's causing me a lot of extra work! Any further comments be sent to either (or both) of the following:

announce at bath-wells.org or

discuss at bath-wells.org

Thanks

Julian (webmaster)

Your Central Council reps have been criticised for not communicating with members. Can I remind you that this is a two way process - I get fed up sending information out and receiving nothing back.

I recently sent out details of the CRAG proposals for reforming the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers and asked for your response to guide your CC reps in their voting.

ONE reply has been received. That's all. How do the other 1,800 or so members feel about these proposals? Does anyone actually care?

These proposals are far reaching and if accepted could change the way the Council is formed and how it works. They could also affect the way Associations are represented on the Council. If we do not get more feedback, your reps will have to vote according to their individual consciences, which is not the way to serve our Association members.

A guide to the frequently asked questions is now attached for your perusal. Please take time to look at this and the proposals for discussion.

Full details of the agenda etc for the forthcoming Council meeting can be found via www.cccbr.org.uk <http://www.cccbr.org.uk/> . Do look at this as there are some important/interesting points being discussed. Please let your reps have your comments on any of these as well as CRAG.

Dear Colleagues

As promised, we have produced a Frequently Asked Questions document, based on the queries submitted to us and some of the other queries we have seen raised online.

I have attached a copy of the first version for you but we will be constantly updating it so please do be sure to check back to the website <http://cc-crag.weebly.com/faqs.html> http://cc-crag.weebly.com/faqs.html where the latest version will be (and where you can also find the full report with its appendices).

With best wishes

Alison Everett

Deputy Chair, CRAG
